The KDW Classic is a family friendly event.  In an effort to keep things fun for the kids, we created this exciting feature.  Junior anglers will have a chance to win one of fifteen (15)  ‘Junior Treasure Chest’ prizes…a crisp $100 bill!  All kids present at the awards party, whether they weighed in a fish or not, will be eligible to receive a ‘Treasure Chest’ key, as long as the keys last (limited supply of keys to the ‘Treasure Chest’ are available).

A $1,000 cash bonus will be awarded to the angler who weighs in the heaviest eligible fish of the Classic. Adult and Junior anglers alike are eligible for this bonus award. Special thanks to our good friends at Ande Monofilament for sponsoring this bonus prize.

This coveted award is presented to the male & female anglers (all ages eligible) who catch the heaviest eligible species overall. While there is no additional cash award for this honor, there are tournament bragging rights to the title, which includes the winners names being added to the perpetual KDW Classic trophy.This special bonus award of $500 cash, sponsored by Kluch Clothing, will be presented to the individual WPBFC member who weighs in the heaviest eligible fish of the tournament.
